Flight time & Voltinity
(Univoltine)  Habitat Chalk downs, meadows and waysides. Foodplant Black knapweed and thistle spp. Lifestage data Flower/seed feeder. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva lives in flowerheads and seedheads feeding on developing seeds and pith. Pupates in a silken cocoon amongst leaf litter or in the soil. |
